Shenmue II Walkthrough – Part 2: Combat
Interior and exterior visuals have just received major upgrades, making the adventure look better than ever. That’s what many gamers will get out of Shenmue II Walkthrough – Part 2: Combat, the second installment of a six-episode Shenmue II video compilation that shows off some of the game’s presentation improvements.
In order to drive insight, we need to take a trip back to 1997, when the original Shenmue was still in development. As a story fan, I was glad that all my time and effort was put into the game, even though it might not even hit shelves. However, the real driving force to play Shenmue II Walkthrough – Part 2: Combat is more of a professional wrestling game, with actors like Harvey Keitel, Jennifer Connelly, Mickey Rourke, and Raul Julia as part of a new cast.
You will find out that all major details are now improved. Whereas the original game’s textures were not as detailed as they could be, you will find the standards of this sequel shining brightly. The graphics, as well as character portraits, are greatly enhanced, with a lot of details enriching the look of the game world.
The heroes of Episode II
Without using old segments from the first game, the series takes on modern age, taking place in 2002. That’s when the events are taking place, as the protagonist, Ryo Hazuki, is fighting to find his father’s killer – the man behind the attack on his parent’s factory that forced him to leave Yokosuka.
There is no point to it if we don’t mention the other main character, too. Yumi, Ryo’s sidekick, makes a comeback in episode 2, joining Ryo to solve a mysterious murder case. Now, for Yumi, things are a little different. For the first time, the lead was a female. She is a reporter who must continue her brother’s work.
The third major character is, of course, Yu Suzuki, the producer and director of the movie Shenmue, where this series is based. Shenmue II Walkthrough – Part 2: Combat is his latest game in the series, and he is officially on board

One of the most popular audio formats, WAV is so widely used for both professional and personal use that it’s almost impossible to find a computer that has trouble reading it. There are, of course, various libraries that work in the background to make the most from this format, but if you’re looking for an easy-to-use tool that’s all about split files, Portable SplitWave is a good choice.
This portable app can be used directly from a USB memory stick, and it doesn’t require installation.
Although not made with beginners in mind, the application does have a good help function, where all features are available to show you how to get the most out of this versatile program.
The app doesn’t support any kind of drag and drop, but it can be loaded by opening the file manager and selecting the whole package in the USB stick.
Split audio files one by one
The app detects silence in the file and divides it accordingly, thus giving you multiple chunks. Of course, the process of splitting is quite complex, but if you’re looking for a neat piece of software, Portable SplitWave is worth checking out. It’s useful when you need to split an audio file into multiple portions, and it even works on files that are not in WAV format.
Compared to the other apps we’ve seen so far in this list, Portable SplitWave is the most basic in terms of features and usability. The app supports WAV files only for input and output, and it’s based entirely on silence detection to separate tracks in the file.
The interface has been made as simple as possible, letting you know whether the splitting process is successful or not. The app doesn’t support any special functionality, but it’s worth mentioning that the destination folder in which the output chunks are saved can be specified. It’s wise to leave it blank, but you’ll have to know where the destination folder is if you don’t want the process to overwrite the previous contents.
What’s New In?
Portable SplitWave is an application designed to split audio files by selecting them with the interface and adding them to a folder. It’s 100% free, is a portable application, and it’s easy to use.

Freemore File Split is designed for professionals. It will effortlessly identify all audio files stored on your drive, and split them by the equalized volume of the audio. Freemore File Split can split more than one audio file at once, without confusing the user with too many files. Freemore File Split performs multitrack splitting for each track in the audio file, making the process possible, even with large track counts. The manual and GUI-based interface of Freemore File Split makes the whole process simple and straightforward, allowing you to select which files to split, the volume on which they’re split, and much more.
Interface and portability perks
This is the edition of Freemore File Split you can directly save and use from an USB flash drive, requiring no installation. As a consequence, your computer’s health status remains intact, because registries are not tampered with.
All the application’s features are stored in a pretty compact main window. Beginners and experienced individuals alike can easily get acquainted with the set of features because of this simplicity. Most effort on your behalf narrows down to selecting the file to be processed, choosing a destination folder, and pressing a button to start.
Far from being a pro
However, the application uses equalization detection as the main method of identifying audio files, so if you just want to split a sound clip, chances are it doesn’t work unless there’s some noise in it. Before the process can start, you need to specify the length of noise to be detected, as well as the maximum number of chunks, but the main ingredient is noise.
The application is only capable of processing MP3, WAV, and WMA audio files, both for input and output. Loading a file needs to be done through the built-in browse dialog, because drag and drop is not supported. Before initiating the process, a name can be given to each part, while leaving the dedicated field blank automatically adds track numbers as name.
Targeting the right file makes the process run smooth, with little time spent in the split operation. You need to know where the destination is, because the final prompt only informs
